Otis Jiry was introduced to me by a friend, and I can't believe I hadn't heard of him before. The simplicity of the Scary Stories Told in the Dark podcast is genius. No fluff, lengthy exposition, etc. Just good old-fashioned storytelling from a man who is obviously a seasoned professional. I love everything about Scary Stories Told in the Dark from the cover art, to the title, to the intro, and even the ending credits. The stories are great, the narration is fantastic. I've found Scary Stories Told in the Dark to be one of my favorite podcasts. The scary stories are great, and the narrator does a good job. It's nice sometimes to listen to someone just reading you a story without a strip club DJ voice and heavy effects.
